Lifeline Central West is running a new innovative interactive program for young people 12 – 18 years and 18 – 25 years in your local area in 2024.

The program – ‘Tackling Tough Conversations’ – the way to grow stronger together through natural disasters is an evidence-based group program for between 10 – 15 young people to support and process their experiences as a result of the Black Summer bushfires 2019/20.

The program consists of interactive workshops that will support participants in wellbeing, positive mental health, resilience and address the long-term effects of trauma with an emphasis on the post traumatic growth recovery process.

There are limited spots available, and if your school or organisation is interested in working with us, please contact us to start the consultation and referral pathway.

The program will start early/mid-February 2024.

Closing date for expression of interest is 21st of November.

This activity is supported by Nepean Blue Mountains Primary Health Network (NBMPHN), as part of the Australian Government’s response to the 2019/20 bushfires. Wentworth Healthcare is the provider of NBMPHN.
