BECOME A MENTAL HEALTH FIRST AIDER to support friends, family members, colleagues and others.
About 1 in 5 Australian adults experience a common mental illness each year. Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training will teach you practical skills to support someone with a mental health problem. Make a real difference to people in your community.
Learn how to assist adults who are developing a mental health problem, experiencing a worsening of an existing mental health problem or in a mental health crisis, until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves.
Standard Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) training helps mobilise and empower adults in the workplace and community by equipping them with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to recognise, understand and respond to another adult experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis.
You will learn how to assist an adult who may be experiencing a mental health problem or mental health crisis until appropriate professional help is received or the crisis resolves, using a practical, evidence-based action plan.
Face-to-face: led by a Licensed MHFA Instructor.
This is an educational course, not a therapy or support group. Aged 18+.
DATE: Wednesday 4th & Thursday 5th February 2026, (must attend both days)
TIME: 9:00am to 4:00pm on both day
