Telephone Crisis Support Work
Regarded as one of the most crucial roles within the Lifeline organisation, each of our Crisis Support Workers are integral in providing professional help and support to those who are in crisis. For more information on our training, click here .
Our reception team are often the first point of contact for those seeking our services. If you have administrative skills, or are looking for some experience in the administration field, we are always looking for more volunteers; many hands lighten the load.
Book Fair Donations
We regularly host Book Fairs around the Central West, and we require a large number of volunteers to help with making it happen. If you have any second hand books in good condition that you would like to donate, you are encouraged to drop them off at your nearest Lifeline branch .
Each Book Fair requires a great deal of man-power in order to pull it off. Please call our office on 1300 798 258 for details on how you can get involved with our volunteer team and help with transporting books, setting up tables and manning the registers.
Employment OpportunitiesWe currently have no staffing positions available. Please be sure to check back for any updates.
Workplace Giving Program (Salary Sacrifice)Lifeline Central West is a registered deductable gift recipient (DGR). Employees of participating businesses can now give directly to Lifeline Central West from their weekly or fortnightly pay. This arrangement is very similar to a salary sacrifice, however all donations are made after tax. At the end of the financial year, they can then claim their donations as tax deductions.
