
BATHURST | DV-alert 1-Day Disability Focused Workshop

Further training for frontline workers who have completed the 2-day DV-alert Foundations workshop or 2 day First Nations workshop, this workshop focuses on domestic and family violence occurrence in women with disability. Frontline workers will learn how to Recognise, Respond appropriately and Refer to support services relevant to women with disability.
By the end of the workshop, you will be equipped with the knowledge and skills to:
Identify and respond to the needs of women with disabilities who may be experiencing domestic and family violence
Respond appropriately to immediate interventions and support needs of women with disabilities
Refer women with disabilities to appropriate services and support.
