DV-alert Workshop Bathurst: Indigenous. 2 day workshop for frontline workers

DV-alert is free, nationally accredited training to help frontline workers recognise the signs of domestic and family violence and know what to do next. Frontline workers hold a unique position of trust in the community and may be the first to see the signs.
What will I learn?
In attending our 2-day accredited Indigenous workshop, you’ll learn how to:
RECOGNISE the signs of domestic and family violence
RESPOND confidently
REFER people to appropriate support services in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
Who is it for?
This workshop is for frontline workers and volunteers in Australia, including those in the health, allied health, education, childcare or community sectors who have contact with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Cost: DV-alert training is funded by the Australian Government Department of Social Services. It is free for frontline workers. Financial support is also offered for staff backfill for attendance of the 2-day workshop or a 1-day specialist workshop, and help with travel and accommodation is available in some cases.
