Gilgandra | DV-alert First Nations Workshop for frontline workers

This workshop is for learners working in rural and remote areas (RA3 to 5), the 2-day workshop includes assessment towards a Statement of Attainment for CHCDFV001 Recognise and respond appropriately to domestic and family violence.

About 2-Day Foundations workshop
This workshop provides practical knowledge and skills in implementing the Recognise, Respond and Refer Model © in a frontline worker context.
When delivered in rural and remote areas, this course is offered as an accredited workshop including assessment. When delivered in metropolitan areas, this course is as a standalone non-accredited workshop or as part of the DV-alert Assessment Pathway towards achieving accreditation.

REFER appropriately
Nationally recognised training
Once each of the components of the DV-alert Assessment Pathway have been completed, you can enrol in the Assessment session. After successful completion of the assessments, you will achieve a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment for the unit of competency CHCDFV001 Recognise and respond appropriately to domestic and family violence.
Cost
It is free for frontline workers. Financial support is also offered for staff backfill for attendance of the 2-Day Foundation workshops and 1-day focused workshops, and help with travel and accommodation is available in some cases.
