Virtual | Refresher Youth MHFA

Refresher courses are available to people who have previously completed a Youth Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) course, whether face‑to‑face, blended, or online.

What You’ll Learn

Participants will:

• Explore the latest research and updates in mental health
• Work through complex mental health first aid scenarios
• Practise skills across a range of mental health problems and crisis situations
• Refresh confidence in recognising, responding, and supporting someone in need

Accreditation

At the end of the course, participants can complete a short assessment to renew their MHFA Accreditation for a further 3 years.

Youth MHFA Refresher (Online)
🕒 1 x 5-hour videoconferencing session
👥 Open to current and accredited Youth MHFAiders

💲 Cost: $250+GST per person

Before Training

Participants must provide a copy of their Certificate of Accreditation to the Instructor prior to training. You can download your certificate via your Mental Health First Aid Account.

You will also need to provide us the email address you originally used for your training to ensure your enrolment for the refresher course is processed correctly.
